I'm looking at the application, and it says I need the addresses of my counselor, science teacher, and another teacher. Isn't this a little too personal?

Can you use the school address versus their personal home address?

The directions for the application say "For teachers, please provide the mailing address for the school instead of a home address." At least that is what it says on the 2016 version of the checklist. Hope that helps.

Each teacher should have a school email as well. Don't need their personal ones.

To clarify, it is the school address. The school will then provide the e-mail addresses for the recommendations. Our school has an NROTC advisor so your school probably has been contacted by them too. It's best if your kid consults with the college counselor at your school to coordinate. They can reach out and get advice.

I agree when we did the application it was for their school addresses.
