NROTC Summer Training vs. Internships

Hi,

I'm going to be a freshman this year on an NROTC Scholarship. I've started to look into different internships I can take part in during the summers while I earn my degree but I'm concerned they'll conflict with the summer training I'll be doing.

Anyone been able to successfully take part in both internships and training? Could you share your experiences or advice please? Thanks!
 
I am interested in how this works as well! Are you by chance pre-med? I am AROTC though.
 
Having just returned from my 3/C cruise I can tell you it shouldn't be a major issue. CORTRAMID is a month long evolution, leaving you with a long two and a half months of summer to do what you please. I'm sure you would have to discuss any specifics such as scheduling conflicts with your intern liaison but my roommate from CORTRAMID left for an internship abroad one week after coming home from training so it is definitely possible.
