I am a female and got a 3Q letter for USMA and received a nomination from my senator. Did not get the principal nomination. I was placed on NWL 2/06/23. Sent in application update via email to my admissions region last night 3/19/23. Received a status update this morning 3/20/23, and am denied. Just wanted to give this information so as to shed light to anyone on NWL, good luck!!!

I'm so sorry- The exact same thing happened with my son. NWL at the beginning of Feb, asked to update his grades (which were a 4.0, lol) and denied the next day. It was an unexpectedly fast turn of events that really stung and took him a while to wrap his head around and move on from.

I know nothing we all can say will help right now, but as the smoke clears, remember that getting to the point that you did is a huge accomplishment and you should be very very proud of yourself. :) I am sure there are many great things ahead of you! Hang in there and best of luck with your next steps.

All good. Sad I won’t be joining my 2 brothers there, but I trust the process. Waiting on USAFA
