October 2019 CVW Recap!

Wow! Amazing experience. Still have goosebumps! Thank you to all for suggestions for the weekend. We did it all... Breakfast at Iron Rooster, walk DTA, parent program on Friday, noon meal formation on Thursday and Friday, walked around tailgate area at football game on Saturday and Mass on Sunday. DS was well matched with his plebe and the other Midshipmen in his room. They devoured all four pounds of homemade cookies in one sitting and offered lots of 'real talk' about their experiences so far at USNA.

The parent program was excellent. The Midshipmen and Admissions people did thorough, informative presentations and the hours flew by. Tour of the yard and classrooms by our retired Navy gentleman host was the best...so many good stories!

CVW was a huge turning point for us and our now Youngster. It solidified our DS’ desire to attend the academy versus NROTC and we were blown away by....everything.
