Thanks for the layout. always great to throw out info like an expert that is totally wrong. SORRY FOLKS.
So what was probably more likely was that there were 65 ish Candidates for all the nominations?
When we first started trying to understand this Nomination thing we thought it was all a big secret. I am awful with numbers, but even my Husband who is good with numbers had a hard time understanding the Nomination distribution. Of course we did not know about this wonderful resource at that time. We were just repeating what a friend who works with candidates in the area said. now we know, if you want the facts, just have to ASK HERE.
We are working with our 3rd candidate by the way (my Daughter-in-Law's Brother) getting a little more savvy but still feel like we are reinventing the wheel every time.
Please everyone before you jump in and say "Why are you helping, the kids are supposed to be doing it themselves" I will state, from my point of view, none of the candidates in question would have made it through the process alone. My Son who is a 2nd this year at USNA has been rock solid since the day he got there! At second class parents weekend this year his CO Commander paid my husband a huge compliment and asked him how he got our son so prepared to be at the Academy. So save the lectures.
Sorry I got more than a bit off topic.
I am in Awe of those young people who do the application process alone, I truly am. I simply don't agree that you should not help, the key word being help I guess. So save the lectures.
Frenzymando , Will keep your name handy in case we have future questions. Just curious, is there a place to get those numbers, or are you plugged into the system?
