Greetings!
I applied and accepted to the USNA's Summer Seminar, which I will promptly in June. Nevertheless, since I applied to NASS, I do not have to send another Preliminary Application for the Class of '24. Therefore, I would like to know when will Official Candidate status confirmation will be delivered.
Thank you!

Hey, I think since you got accepted to NASS, your portal will open by NASS the latest. I wasn’t accepted to NASS last year but I got my official candidacy on 9th of May 2018.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Yep SB any time. And welcome to the application process for the class of ‘24!

If and when you get the email, it will be called the "ECandidate Packet Letter", or words to that effect.
It will have your class of 2024 login name and password information (which gets you past the first web page).

It will also include your 6-digit candidate number.
As a candidate, you will get into the Candidate Information System with your;
First Name
Last Name
Last four digits of your Social Security Number
Candidate Number

Last year, it was EMailed on May 9th.

Thank you! That is great information.

Thank you!
Also, what were the greatest issues that your son/daughter had to tackle during the application process?

Ummmmmm.....probably ‘managing’ it all: USAFA. USNA. Congressman. Senator. Senator. AFROTC. NROTC. DoDMRB. It’s a great big huge intimidating-thing. The actual tackling and management of the application processes for each. And making sure all pieces are his best work. Complete. And filed on time.

Yep, thats it!!

Hi Kevin. Are you a SEAL?
No sir. Just a prospect. However, I have desired to be Navy SEAL since I was 8 and I have consistently worked on my physical and mental fitness towards that goal.
It would probably be a very good idea to get rid of the Seal insignia and Petty Officer title. Those take a LOT of work and effort to get and you have done neither.

Ok sorry. The petty officer thing is an inside joke, but I'll change it ASAP.
