Official Candidate Letter

My DD received an official Candidate email on May 10th, but did not receive a letter in the mail. Looking through some older threads from 2015 it seems common practice to get an email and a letter. Should she still expect both? If so, why didn't she get a letter?

I applied for class of 2021 and I never got a letter... just an email

What they did in 2015 may no longer be current practice. Email is faster and more efficient then sending a letter through the mail.

USNA seems to have stopped the physical letters for this and and TWEs in the last year or so. Saves money that can be used elsewhere.
