Official Correspondence "noncommittal"

A message showed up on my candidate portal in the official correspondence section. It was giving me all kinds of information about DODMERB and the CFA. It also told me to start contacting MOCs for nominations but it never said that I am an official candidate. I got a similar letter from AFA that said I am an official candidate so I don't know what this means. Anyone else get this or have any answers? Still haven't heard back about SLE.
 
Every candidate gets this. Candidate means they think you are competitive enough to advance in the application. Don't think too much of it, just do what it says.
