Official Deadline for Acceptance? Class of 2021

Can someone please tell me the official deadline for accepting an offer of appointment to the USMA? I have seen April 15th and May 1st on the forum and could not locate a date in DS's admission packet. I tried calling admission but did not get through to a person. Thank you in advance for your response.

I would wager it largely depends on when the appointment is tendered. Some people won't hear back by the 15th of April. Heck, a few years back in my district we had someone appointed in late June because of a medical issue the primary nominee had.

DS Feb 13 USMA appointment letter says May 1. Later appointments of course may vary as that date approaches [and passes.]

USAFA is April 15 this year; cannot speak to USNA.

I believe it's May 1st. I e-mailed my RC.
