Hello community,
Does your liaison officer contact you for the official interview on your application? Or do you have to contact them?

Believe the recent communications indicate they will contact you and you should not contact them regarding the interview. Double check for sure, but that is what I have read in other threads.

I watched a live video last week from 2 WP admissions officers to talk about the process and answer questions. They did say that the field force interview is required starting this year (this year may mean the next class 2025 since they were mostly working on those who recently opened the portal=high school juniors). The FFR would then need to submit their review in the portal. I recommend you contact your FFR and ask to meet them or inquire with WP admissions. IMO, it is best to be your own advocate and ask the question than miss the deadline.

Or follow the instructions from USMA and Do Not contact your RC or FFR until instructed.

Interview Item on Portal
(9 Jan 2020) - Ladies and Gentlemen,

A new item, Interview, has been added to your portal. You will be contacted by your Admissions Officer or Field Force if you require an interview. Your focus should be on completion of the rest of your application. Do not contact your Admissions Officer or Field Force about this new item; you will be contacted if an interview is necessary.

Athletes: as a recruit, the coaching staff will handle this requirement during the application process. Someone else may complete it but you will receive correspondence from your Admissions Officer if this occurs.

Soldiers: your Commander’s Assessment will serve as the interview.
