Received a phone call from the House Representative today! :)
 
DS got a call from our congresswoman tonight. He is in!

This is true, but Texas has only about three times the people of New Jersey. I would imagine, then, that they would have about three times as many appointees as New Jersey at any given time then? But that is just what seems to make sense in my mind.

I can't complain, either, because, being from New Jersey, it is nice to see that I still have a shot!

Congratulations to all the recent appointees. The wait is torture, I know, but the joy and exhilaration upon getting the good word is unquenchable. It’s been almost two weeks for DD and we are still on a high.:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile:

Lost seat

Usually it is the Congressman or Senator that gained the seat......at least in VA. But don't be afraid to call your new Congressman and ask. :smile:
 
Some MOCs do not notify their appointees and the appointee will find out through an email from USAFA and/or update to their portal. Our DS never got a call from our Representative.

I had the same situation... I got my notification from the new congressman. If this is the situation for your son or daughter, I would recommend giving your congressperson's office a call to remind them that you still exist! With the transition into office and the fact that they weren't the people who actually nominated you, it might slip their minds and then you have to wait to hear from the Academy.

Congrats to everyone that has received THE call today!!!! If I counted right that's 11 so far!!?? WOW!! There is a lot of happiness spread all over the country!
Makes me nervous though - still waiting for THE call here!
