Hi,

I was wondering if any current cadets or grads can provide their opinion on the Corps Cash Card. I know it's basically a debit card, but, beyond the stated advantages listed below, do you see any other advantages or disadvantages to this cash card? Are there places at USMA where they will only accept the Corps Cash Card and no other credit cards and/or cash?

I'm debating using this cash card because I have my own Capital One rewards credit card which provides travel rewards.

Thanks in advance!

From the memo contained in the 3rd Admissible Packet:

Advantages of Corps Cash Card

1. Corps Cash Card gives you flexibility and is convenient to use.
2. Save time: Corps Cash Card is faster than cash or a credit card - just swipe or tap your card
for payment and you're on your way.
3. No need to carry cash, exact change, or debit/credit cards. Spend what you have.
4. Add money to your account is easy and funds are available within minutes with no additional
costs, interest, or fees. Purchases made with your card are deducted from your available
balance immediately.
5. Anyone can add money to your account, but only you with the card, can make purchases.
6. If you accidentally lose your card, your funds are secure and immediately available when
you receive a replacement card.
7. There are no membership fees, service charges, minimum balances, or "buy-in" required.
8. Any balance left in the account rolls over to the next year, automatically.
