I found this from last year, it has some good objectives for everyone for all of the dinners coming up:

both parents and appointees, and even siblings if they're here, are more than welcome to attend. the dinners are really informal, and just something the cadets set up for a number of purposes:

1) let's appointees meet each other, as well as parents meet other appointee parents

2) put faces with screen names

3) give parents and appointees interaction with cadets to ask questions

4) get food (since you all need to eat anyway)

5) get the cadets away from USAFA for an afternoon ;)
