My DS had braces and a retainer a few years back and was not diligent in wearing his retainer and his bottom teeth shifted a bit. He has now decided he wants to fix his teeth and was checking into Invisalign or something similar. Is this something that he would be able to do at NAPS/USNA? Or is he pretty much stuck with his current bite at this point for the next few years?

MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

DS : Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil (***ensure you type the email just as it looks. No extra “e” anywhere***); provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “usna1992 -SAF = Orthodontics while at NAPS .“ Do NOT embed links in your email as I will not be able to view those.:wiggle:

Following this thread-- 4/C is getting scanned for invisalign in July when he's home on leave. No cost for the scan/consult, but it didn't occur to me that the plastic trays might not be allowed since so many mids pop in retainers when studying/sleeping?

Sooooo Mom.....your son...who's already @ the USNA....is totally in charge of this situation. He, not MOM, should ask the dental clinic ANY AND ALL questions he has regarding his dental health..and it's highly possible, he already has:wiggle:
