My brother went to the Air Force Academy and they had an event called Parent's Weekend every year in the fall where cadets had a few days off to visit with family but they had to stay in Colorado Springs. Does West Point have something similar?

No, but any weekend that your parents come up and you aren't busy, you can spend time with them. If you are staying close, they're called walking privileges. If you want to go farther, you'll need to take a pass or if you are an upper classman off post privileges. Pass, you can spend the night out, but for the privileges, you have to be back in your room at night.

First weekend of spring break is Plebe Parents Weekend - plebes run the place, there is a big dinner, parade, etc. then when it's done, they have the rest of their break.
