Percentage of Appointment Receipients on forums?

I can't seem to find if and where this has been discussed. My question goes out to those that have been around on this forum in previous years. Obviously not all appointments are noted in this forum, so based on previous years, what percentage is? If it is close to half, then there is a long way to go, but if it is only 8 to 10 percent, then slots are rapidly filling up. I guess I am trying to see if my DS still has a chance at receiving an appointment. Thanks!

From previous years around 10% of total appointments are posted on this site. I wouldn’t worry about whether there is still spots left or not because some districts still haven’t heard anything yet.

Yes, And I would add based on the numbers posted and an estimate of 10% , that were are likely not into the NWL yet, which is a great opportunity for an appointment as well. Pulling for your DS Mustang!

DD is waiting so patiently, and I only see 4 appointments s of now from our state.... I will pray her appointment is sitting on the new MOC’s desk and she needs to wait until the portal change!

I just looked back at the Class of 2021 and Class of 2022 appointment threads, and there were 153 offers of appointment posted in each. That puts the sampling rate at 10-11% (based on these two classes).

That said, if you've scanned many of the threads on SAF, you've probably seen the guidance not to worry about the others in the application process. As long as your DS has not received a TWE, his application is still in play. Make sure plans b, c, and d are in place, but don't give up hope. We will continue to see USAFA notifications released over the next month.
