Hello, so recently football ended and I haven't been able to do lots of exercise in my spare time for the past couple months. Long story short I bombed the crunch part of NROTC fitness assessment with only 40, my push ups were 55 and mile time was 7:00. Will the low amount of crunches be taken into lots of consideration when my package gets submitted to the board?

Your crunch score is only 3 off from mine (I got 37 in 1 minute). Practice, practice, practice those crunches and then re-take the PFT. I am AROTC and we have until the 1st week in January to submit items for 2nd board - not sure about NROTC.
You are capable of more than you think. You got this! Best of luck.

Less than 36 crunches is failing for a male aged 17-19. Your scores give you an overall AFA score of 55; above 45 is considered passing, and above 60 is considered GOOD. If you have already submitted your package to the board, you can't retake the AFA. If it hasn't been submitted, I wouldn't recommend retaking anyways.
