PFT Testing during BMT/BCT (Question)

I heard someone say that the PFT score during BCT/BMT is not official, but can it count towards your official PFT?

I would also like to know, has anyone seen any improvement in any of their PFT scores from the time they took the PFT at BCT/BMT, to the time that they took the official PFT that actually counts towards your grade (specifically females with the pull up section, and even somewhat with the 600 meter dash)?

Your PFT during BCT is used to establish whether or not you will be put on PEP (Physical Enhancement Program, sort of like reconditioning), during the academic year. It also is used to create a baseline, but it does not count toward your PEA. There are typically several more days of PT after your last PFT during BCT, so I would gander that a lot of people see improvement in those categories. I cannot comment on what this looks like during BMT at the Prep School.
