Phone Call from Nominating Authority

Hi all, I received a phone call from the rep of my mocs office and he asked if my phone number was a good place to reach me and asked me to be on standby today. Does this probably mean I can expect an appointment? I have been on hold since early March.

I heard about my appointment that way. My MOC's office contacted me about a time to call, and later that week my MOC congratulated me on my USMMA appointment. This was a week and a half before my portal updated. Never received an email or anything. Got my FedEx package in the mail two weeks later.

You can download the FedEx app and enter your name and address, if there is a package coming to your house and matches the name and address you entered, it should show up on the FedEx app, if it's from the admission office, then congrats. I received a text from FedEx saying there is a package on its way to my house, I opened the app and see that it's from the Admission office, then a few hours later, my MOC called and sent an email to congratulate me.

I believe you can mentally choreograph your Happy Dance but not execute it just yet.

I checked fedex just now and I do have a package from the USMMA admissions office. This has just been a crazy year and an equally crazy admissions cycle. I got the nom on the 28th of January and shotgunned an application in the next day. Then when I got put on hold in March I assumed it was over. Wow.
