Even though my son was not in the Waterfront photos, I have enjoyed seeing what else they do besides drills on the square. Thank you Waterfront crew for taking and posting your photos. Hmmmm . . . just wondering when Company 1 will be at the waterfront - either on boats, sailing or in the pool.

Me too....I want to see my son....although I do not know what platoon, I do know that he is in first company....but it is nice to see smiles on the faces of those that are in the photos...it is peace of mind

Despite what the hoorah types would have you believe, the waterfront activities prepare the plebes for the eventual goal of the school. The yelling and marching and drilling is just a tool for them to gain discipline to survive plebe year and learn time management. The WF was the best place to be during indoc and still is!
