Please Help - CFA Retake

I took the CFA in mid-January and scored 49 ft on the basketball throw which failed the whole test. I contacted my field force rep about it, who noted that I failed and would need to take a retake. I took the retake on Tuesday, but upon trying to submit the scores, my test admin said that he was not able to as the form "had already been submitted." After some digging, I discovered that one needed approval from their RC in order to input retake scores. That I do not have.

I have been trying my best to contact admissions (via phone and email) within the past week, but given how busy they are, I have received no word back. I was wondering if anybody on here could help me out with my situation? I understand that this is an odd ask at an even odder time, but am getting desperate as the deadline approaches. I would greatly appreciate any help I could get with this, and apologize for my ineptitude with this situation.

My file is strong with 3 nominations and I am working with all I can to get those retake scores in. They were significantly better than my first CFA and would pass without a doubt-unlike my first CFA.

Sorry, misunderstood the post.
It's okay-I appreciate the time anyway. I actually used the same video to score 59 feet on the retake. The problem is is that I need someway to input my retake scores into the portal within the next several days since I didn't realize that I needed an RC authorization in order to take it.

Don’t panic, continue to call and send emails. Possibly contact someone other than your RC so see if you can have them pass word. Try possibly contacting one your nomination sources, the person who conducted your interview, or a technician. Just try your best to make your voice heard

Thank you for the advice. I never thought about contacting my technician (I'm from the Northeast) and State coordinator. Will promptly do so.

On your Candidate portal, there is a 'contact us' option at the top of the page, if you haven't already you could try reaching out using that feature. If you have tried that and it has not worked try emailing the candidate technician for your region and the regional commander at the same time- catherine.muller@westpoint.edu and admissionsne@westpoint.edu for the northeast region. If the technician sees it before the RC then they could pass the word along.

Anyone, should this applicant send a registered letter to Admissions. State the issue and that he/she cant get through...and that they really want to be a WP ? Better than a DQ? Please advise.

If OP has sent an email to all the persons noted above, what would be gained with a registered letter? Email exchange itself is a documentary proof of his efforts.

Contacting RC, technician and anyone related to you application is your best bet.

More internal Admissions phone numbers to try at link below, go to p. 11.

Though military bases don’t often have paper phone books anymore, or put more than a general number on a website, with a little digging, an internal phone directory can be found.

Try some other numbers, be articulate, appreciative, with materials handy. Thank people by name. If Bill T. Sherman answers the phone, thank Mr. Sherman.

Press on! Let us know the outcome.

Thank you for this piece of advice. I'm not sure how I'd go about reaching my RC by cold calling numbers at the school, though I will try doing so if nothing bears fruit.

Did they give you any deadline for this? Application deadline is Jan 31

Yup. Gotta find someone to administer it this weekend.

I could've sworn when I applied a couple years ago that the deadline was Feb 28th. Guess they changed it :\

Contact a local recruiter, they're pretty good to help
