He just called me and answered a few of my questions and how he explained it, it sounded a lot like my interview. I am not in DEPIt can be a few different tings. Most of the times it is a meeting with all of the poolees to get to know each other as well as perform the Initial Strength Test (IST). It is also used to go over any changes in your status (medical, criminal...) Are you in the DEP?
Sounds good. How was your PFT last week?He just called me and answered a few of my questions and how he explained it, it sounded a lot like my interview. I am not in DEP
I did 8 pullups, 80 crunches, and a 24:24 run. Overall a little disappointing (however the PR for pullups was great). I was shocked to not be able to max the crunches but it was honestly my fault because I was practicing with my hands in the wrong positions (on shoulders rather than bicep). I wasn’t anticipating the heat for the run (9:30 SC humidity really got me) but there’s no excuse there, I only need to keep improving. The overall score was a 255 which is ok but not good enough for me! Shooting for at least 280 next time.Sounds good. How was your PFT last week?
Actually I have not. Originally, they told me my supervisor was the XO at RSS Columbia. She has called me and we have had prior contact, however, I have emailed her with questions about the different forms that I have to fill out but I’ve haven’t gotten a response. When I asked my recruiter where we were going for the pool validation he said Charlotte. I asked why not Columbia because that is where I was put for the application, and he said that the moved/ changed to them (idk how he worded it exactly). It is weird because I was not notified of this change, but it makes sense because Charlotte is still in the Recruiting region that I am in and it tells me why the XO is not returning my contact.A "pool validation" refers to the Recruiting Station conducting an IST and screening interviews to ensure that those poolees who are scheduled to attend boot camp soon are still qualified. Have you been in contact with your Scholarship Coordinator (i.e. the Station Executive Officer)?

My body literally failed at 80! I was so confused/surprised that it would be the crunches that brought down my scoreI get what you mean on those crunches brother. Figured I could max em and ended up being 5 short.
