portal change regarding admissions

My DS portal has had some form of "admission decision ready" listed and once you clicked on the box it took you to the LOA. Today it says Congratulations, your application is under review. Any idea what that means or time frame?

That is what happened to my DD then the appointment news came from her congressman about 4 days later
 
It seems that the notification of LOA disappears after some time. The same situation happened to me, but I received an offer of appointment several days later, so I would not worry about the "application under review" status.

Same with my son's - fingers crossed they receive official notice soon!
 
Where on your portal did you see the LOA and "admissions decision ready?" Was it under Home or My Progress?

When was your DS's entire application completed?

Thank you for that link. I did not even know of the “other portal” until recently. It would’ve been nice if the original portal gave you that other portal link to check your status.
 
I am just a mom here (so not from admissions) but my DS who does not have an LOA (he has strong file (but not wowzas), a service connected nom and everything completed) also suddenly has the "Congrats, your application is under review". We would be thrilled if it was the golden ticket in, but I think that it means exactly what it says and nothing more.
 
I just checked and mine has a similar saying but I have no LOA. Should I be expecting a decision soon or is it probably a general update?

how do you find the other portal? My daughter's portal just says: application submitted.

Thanks Bayou2025! My DS was only on the "new" portal and didn't know that he could still access the "old" portal. Well well, he had an APPOINTMENT LETTER to USNA sitting in his old portal! Who knows how long it has been there? These forums rock. THANK YOU!
