Portal Not Updating + Timeline for DoDMERB?

I sent in my ACT score a few weeks ago, and it still hasn't shown up in the portal. Also, my guidance counselor sent in my transcript and ECA validation, but both of those have also not shown up. Anyone else having this issue?

I was also curious about how much of the application needs to be complete before scheduling the examination?

You can contact your admissions rep to confirm receipt. In the past, approximately 50 pct of your application completion triggered DODMERB. But this year, we were recently notified that it is 100 pct completion (other than interview). And that means COMPLETE and RECEIVED by USNA. So those teacher evaluations, etc, RECEIVED by USNA.

Puts a little more UMPH on tending to your application, and following up with teachers and counselors!

First, there is still a bit of delay in submitting application information to Admissions and posting in the portal. Be patient .... (I am going to say that many times during this application cycle). Admissions launched a new application platform last year, and there are still bugs being worked out. Don't expect instant response or posting, but also don't hesitate to follow up if you think something has been missed after a reasonable time .

To follow up Just Do It -- Admissions has recently informed BGO's that names wouldn't be submitted to DODMERB until application was complete. This is a change of policy from the old rule of thumb that they would submit when approximtely 50% complete , as well as temporary change last year where some were not submitted to DODMERB until there was an initial determination a candidate was "competitive."

No -- different policy this year. Last year was a somewhat ambiguous statement that they wouldn't be sent to DODMERB unless competitive. With delays in the Admissions platform, USNA was slow in sending names to DODMERB. This year, its a very clear statement -- get your application complete ! Only time will tell how fast the DODMERB process is started once the application is completed.

Yes, I can confirm what @Old Navy BGO has said. My AC told me that all of the application must be completed BEFORE Admissions will send a name to DOMERB for a physical. This includes the CFA, ECAs, and Teacher Evals must be COMPLETED (not enough to just provide the name and e-mail of the Math & English teachers). We will see how this works out.
