I recently had my medical examination. On my history I put down that I was allergic to avocados, bananas, and melons. My allergies to these are very slight, and involve only a slight tingling in the mouth. In fact, I eat bananas every day, and melons quite often. I have never actually been tested for these allergies, but I did put them on my medical history because I was aware of them. Now, the department of defense is requesting remedial tests on these allergies. I was just wondering if these allergies will medically disqualify me from the service academies. Will it be possible to get a waiver?
