Probably should have posted this earlier, to get information as quickly as I could, but better late than never.
I'm fairly certain that I passed the physical exam with no problems--healthy weight, regular blood pressure, average pulse, in good physical condition overall (Well, cramping due to not running before the exam, but beside the point). The only fear that I have now is getting DQ'd for vision.
I consulted with my regular opthamologist, and got a report on my vision. What I got wasn't encouraging: -7.75 diopters in my right eye, -10.25 diopters in my left eye. My vision is correctable to 20/20 with glasses, but my parents and I are worried about getting disqualified from an Army ROTC scholarship.
Is vision disqualifaction a common cause for most DQs, and if so, what are the accepted limits? If I get DQ'd, do I send the waiver request to Army Cadet Command?
