How much do I need to be prepared for NASS. I will be attending the first session (June 2nd - 7th). I already run 5 miles every day for soccer and I play competitive club soccer every day. What else should I do to better prepare myself (mentally and physically) for the week? Thanks in advance for the help :)

My DD will also be attending NASS and yesterday we talked to DS who is USNA as a 3/C. His answer to what our daughter should be doing to prepare was: RUN, RUN, and then RUN somemore! :shake: She hates to run, but has been doing it, so I am a bit worried about how this is going to go.....sounds like you are way ahead of the curve!

Congrats for your daughter as well! :) And it's good to actually hear a confirmation! Do you know if we should be doing push ups and other things like that?

Don't sweat the "preparation" all that much. There won't be anything mentally, psychologically, or physically crushing during NASS.

Do prepare for the CFA though. You can free up a little bit of time and worry if you score well at NASS and get it out of the way.

I'll be attending 3rd session. I'm hoping there's a lot of running there cause I'll be training full throttle for Cross Country this summer and I need to keep up my mileage. Is there any time allotted for personal fitness at NASS?

Practice the basketball throw and pull ups. You don't necessarily need to work out for them, just get your technique down so you don't swing like crazy on the bar like I did lol
