My DS Colby has his commencement tonight. Last evening the HS had their Scholarship Foundation awards. They did award over $500k worth of scholarships last night. Great event to see so many kids earn recognition for college. Since Colby is going across the country they had a local college send a representative to award him his scholarship. Our HS did a very nice job. My son opened ceremonies leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance at (34.30) mark of video. The recognized all in class of 2022 headed to the military (35:15) which was met with a deserved standing ovation. The orchestra followed up with Warriors Legacy at 39:00. ROTC scholarship presentation at 44:00. Colby also introduced Lions Club at 1:38:04 mark then won the scholarship and the following one from the VFW. Big night for my son. I was probably proudest and most emotional when they lined up all of the military recruits.
