My father was an E-5 in the navy and served active duty for 4 years and reserve for 6, am I eligible? Asking because admissions haven't responded yet.

I am sure you have read this or similar on other SA websites:

It lays out the required AD time or the required Reserve time, neither of which looks like they align with your Dad’s service. It’s not clear what the answer is with combined AD and Reserve.

The SA is well-versed in the requirements for this, and you will eventually get an answer after they have considered the regulations and precedents.

Please reassure us you are applying for VP, Senators and Representative, at a minimum.

I understand "reserve" and the combined service "points" is not enough. The Presidential is for children of career military and
for someone no longer in the military, it requires eligibility for retired pay.

For reservists CURRENTLY DRILLING, it requires a minimum of 2800 points which would normally be from a mix of active time at 360 pts/yr along with reserve time which is generally under 100 per yr. Active 4 yrs is 1440 pts and if his 6 yrs reserve were in a drilling status, thats probably under 600 so approx 2000 and that's if he was still drilling.
