Hey guys I'm just looking for a few answers that I can't seem to get. I'm currently active duty and head to the prep school in July. My question is what do I bring uniform wise? Do I really need to bring my blues other then ribbons and little things. If I'm just going to be reissued these items I rather not carry a full bag around all day. And do we report to in processing in ABU's with our patches, badges, and stripes?

Also, if you have a Facebook, look up this group "USAFA Prep School- Class of 2016" and join it. There are a few prior enlisted airman in the group who will be attending the prep school during the same time as you, good way to know some people before heading off to the prep. Also, we end up answering each others questions.

I brought all my uniforms, but I think you could get by with just 1 or 2 sets of ABUs if you wanted. No need to buy new ABUs without stripes, just rip out the stitches. You could opt out of being reissued a bunch of stuff you already brought. I'm not sure if that is still an option. Stuff changes every year it seems.
