Prior-Service USMAPS

So I have accepted my USMAPS appointment and notice that in the admit lit they want me to get another dental examination with x-rays. Do I really need to do this? Shouldn’t they be able to access my already existing military dental records?

Congrats on your appointment! Yes, all prior-service had to turn in records of nearly everything they ask for on the portal (if you have recent copies of paperwork on MEDPROS, etc, you can generally turn those in if applicable).
