Priors???

I've sent in my acceptance letter for the NAPS class convening in July of 2010. Should I expect to see my orders on Bupers? From my Command career counselor? or through the mail? The only reason I ask is because I really need my "Report no later than date" It's April and I haven't heard anything yet. I still need to terminate my lease, do my pack-out, and plan out what days I want to take leave before reporting, as well as a bunch of other things. I'm stationed overseas and I really need ample time to make sure everything is taken care of; like checking out of my current command which always takes forever.

For any priors, or anyone with an answer: Have you received your orders yet? If so, what's you RNL date? Does anyone know how soon before NAPS are we suppose to receive our orders?

Not real sure but I read somewhere no orders (keep mind those just reporting are "reservists" who get TemDUINS/permit to report orders) are sent out until after USNA graduation in early June. I also read the RNL date for high school students (realizing you don't fit into this category) to report for indoc is the July 27th. So some time around then will be your RNL date. Hope it helps keep in mind it is not officially but your orders should arrive and delivered either by the Command Career counselor or I have seen in some cases hand delivered by the Skipper.

Priors generally are ordered to report about a week before the rest of the class at NAPS.

JS...NAPS Candidate Packet is slightly different for priors as some of the stuff is already done with their enlistment. Non-priors have a little more leg work to do back home before going to Newport.

HM3...If I am remembering correctly, it was the Career Command Counselor that has handled the "orders" in the past for most. Maybe one of our current NAPSters that frequents here that is a prior can jump in on the timing of when they are actually cut for you.
