Does anyone know when the "inventory" (initial) PRT takes place? My DD is recovering from pneumonia and was just cleared to start working out again with only a week and a half to indoc I am concerned about her ability to run.
ANy information on how the PRT works will be great.

I went over that already. I am looking for the time frame of when the last chance to pass the PRT is

Historically the PRT test is administered on day 3 of INDOC.

Push ups, plank, and a mile and a half run are the measurements.

is there a retake if you fail on day 3 or do they send you home? The doctor told my daughter that she would need two full weeks to recover fully we have 8 days

Current mid here: No, they do not send anyone home for the INDOC PRT. Everyone (including plebes) takes the PRT again during the first week of school. If she fails that one, she'll be put onto PEP, which is just extra workouts in the mornings until she passes.

Thank you

They used to call the remedial types on PEP the Donut Squad. Im sure in this day and age of being offended easily that's gone away.

The PRT also uses USN Fleet standards as is a fairly low bar to pass. People DO fail it but I believe the standard to not kicked out is to pass sometime before the end of the first Tri.

Passing the PRT was not a problem until she was hospitalized for a week and a half with pneumonia. I think the Donut Squad is funny FYI
