Hello Mr. Mullen ( @MullenLE ) and friendly forum contributors,

My DS received a USMA waiver request AMI for R151.00, R152.35, and R152.02 (eye/myopia-related requests). He had private optometrist conduct exam and all is copacetic. DS submitted all the requested documents: new eye exam results , report, color copy of color topography results, etc.

We've been patiently waiting, so of course that gives us time to wonder/worry if the doctor's extensive handwritten notes on the examination report is considered the "written interpretation" or is a separate, typed narrative required?

Any insights are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mr. Mullen stepped away a few months ago to manage the DoDMERB website outage.

Has your son contacted his assigned DoDMERB technician to ask?
Assigned DoDMERB techs can be found in Contacts on the DoDMERB home page. No need to log in.

He has not, but will. Thank you so much for your timely response and this info!
