Are Plebes allowed to bring religious items like personal Bibles for Plebe Summer? I could not find anything about this in the permit to report packet.

You can bring a Bible. Usually the first Sunday they will provide a Bible to Plebes to keep (do they still do this). One thing to note… you will have very little time to read the Bible outside maybe a Sunday. If you have a Bible that is a family heirloom or something, leave it for your parents to bring as bags on I Day can get tossed around and rooms moved around a lot during PS (at least in non-COVID years).

Sounds good thank you for the response and the advice. The bible I have is not a family heirloom or anything fancy. Around a month ago I started a Bible in a year challenge with my friend and was curious if I would be able to continue it throughout Plebe Summer

See what the Academy offers as well in terms of bible study groups. The Bible in one year is rather ambitious. Groups will typically have coordinated topics that you study where you can meld current social events and themes with bible teachings.

I've started a Bible in a year Challenge this year and I use an App on my phone. When you get your phones back after PS, that is something that might work better for you. You can read on the App or listen to a narrator and there are video devotions that coincide with the readings. When I don't have a lot of time, I can listen while also doing other things.
