i did my medical exams a couple weeks ago. the dodmets page now has both exams in, and my status (on dodmets, not dodmerb) is "complete--hold".

i think complete means that dodmets has the forms but has not yet sent them to dodmerb. what does the "hold" mean? also, does dodmets ask for remedials, or does that only happen after the exams are sent to dodmerb?
thanks.

Rotcdonde,

My daughter recently completed the DODMETS / DoDMERB medical qualification process for AROTC so I can try to shed some light on some of your questions based on our experience:

I do not know what the "hold" designation means. You are correct that the "Complete" designation means that they have all of the exams. Ours went from pending to incomplete to complete once all the exams were received by Concorde.

Once the file review is completed by Concorde the paperwork is sent to DoDMERB for their review for a status determination. In theory, Concorde should then list their status as "Closed". This did not appear in my daughter's case but there was an indication on the bottom of the status screen which indicated that the file was sent to DoDMERB. When we contacted Concorde to inquire, they confirmed that the file was indeed sent to DoDMERB and closed with respect to Concorde.

The remedial process is a DoDMERB process and not a Concorde one. If a remedial is required (there are different types) you will be so notified by DoDMERB. You can also contact Concorde / DODMETS to inquire as to your Concorde application status as well.

Good luck to you in the process.
