Question about USNA Appointment Certificate

Is there anyone else who received an appointment from USNA, but hasn't received the physical appointment packet/certificate, although it's been a few weeks?

This isn’t abnormal at all. It can Many weeks. It will come though!! If you want notification if it’s a trivial via USPS, signing up for ‘informed delivery’ on the USPS website will notify you what you have coming each day in the mail (if available in your area). It’s kind of neat!!

To your question, though, it really can take a looong minute. Even months.

It took my DD over a month to get hers. Be patient it will come. She did follow up with her admissions counselor and then it appeared a few days later.

I live in Maryland, recieved my appointment on the March 8th and my BFE on the 31st.

An email I received from admissions said they ran out of supplies and will take them some time to send them out. They said to be on the lookout for more information/forms to come from them via email.

Received call from MOC on March 15th, BFE arrived yesterday

Here's the big question: That BFE was sort of anti-climatic, wasn't it?
The really big deal is that day you see the portal change to "Fully Qualified Offer of Appointment", isn't it?

I have informed delivery. I have to say, I find myself not wanting to open that email cuz I don't want to see that there's a TWE coming
