Hello,

Yesterday, I called DODMERB and found out that I am currently medically disqualified because of my vision. (diplopia and retinal scars on both eyes). My left eye is 20/25 and right eye is 20/150. Right eye is worse that the left because the scar on the right eye affected the macula...(which affected my central vision). My vision is very stable, and I don't think my vision is getting worse.

Does anyone know if this is usually waiverable for the US Air Force Academy?(if my application package is competitive)... I am currently an active duty airman, and I haven't had any problems with it. And plus, I am not planning to fly or be a navigator.

Please advice.

Thank you so much!

There is NO ONE on this Forms that know the answer to that question, to include me. The only way that question gets answered is by the waiver authority reviewing YOUR case specifically and rendering their decision. There are way too many variables with these conditions.:thumb:

Ohh ok sir.
I will just wait for the final decision.

Thank you.
