Questions, Chatter, Congrats for the 2026 USAFA Appointment Thread

What a letdown! I couldn't sleep well last night because of the specter of finally getting something back from admissions hanging over me.
 
Maybe this means that those still waiting are now all on the 'short list' of 150 qualified candidates. IDK when the list is created. Only that it's required. I wonder if the candidates ever know they are on said list and if those on said list are offered remaining USAFAPS spots 🤔 so many unknowns

USNA it is !! he did not even flinch, he said ok… and went back to do homework !! And getting ready for state competitions tomorrow.

He loved his USNA visit and he did said he could see himself there and becoming a naval aviator so no tears from him.

Go Navy beat Army.....and Air Force ...sorry

TWE for my son as well. He accepted USMMA so he will be there on July 8th and hopefully will meet a few from these forum. This journey started many years ago and the application ride started probably one year ago. Crazy times. Good luck to all of you ladies and gentlemen in whatever you do. From my heart I wish you all the very best.

As far as I know it does not mean that but it does mean that it’s still a possibility!
 
Dang. What a day. Now we know for sure that April 21st is in fact a mass rejection day. Same here. DS is indifferent and already submitted his paperwork to his second choice. Y'all were such a fun group to experience this roller-coaster with! Good luck to all. 👋
