I was accepted into NASS on the first of April (assigned a session after paying)

Does being accepted inherently mean that your preliminary application was accepted and that you'll be given a candidate number?

And at what point, assuming you were accepted into NASS, would you receive the email with your candidate information. I'm assuming late May but i've also seen after NASS is completed, in early July.

Yes you wait and will receive a candidate number. I’m not positive, but I’ve never seen or heard of anyone going to NASS that didn’t meet the requirements for becoming a candidate.

Your email will tell you how to log in, with your candidate number. It’s pretty exciting as it shows everything you will be working on for the next (up to) 6 months or so!

Remember to check your MOC requirements and deadlines!

I was waitlisted to NASS about a week ago. It’s better than an immediate rejection I guess. I really hope I get selected off the waitlist and get to attend. However I also received information about the candidate status in the waitlist email.
The email stated that in mid May we will receive a follow up email regarding the candidate portal with our candidate number and more information
