I could have sworn I read somewhere that the underwear and shirts we bring must be marked however I cannot find specific information about this. Could anyone clarify what needs to be marked on the garments we bring to identify them or direct me to the correct source. Thankyou

You should have been given a student ID number on the application portal ex: ABCDE1234. As I understand right now, mark underwear and undershirts in large letters, about 1in to 1.5in.

"Please mark all under clothing on the tag or the rear of the waistband with your 9-digit alphanumeric student ID (found on your admissions portal). The laundry marking should be approximately one inch high and one and one half inches wide." ~ Appointee Handbook page 16

Are those the dimensions for each letter, or for the entire ID? Also, do most people use iron on labels or a clothing pen?

The entire ID. I personally used both a stamp and iron on labels, but a lot of people just use black or white sharpies.

We ordered stamp from "the stamp maker" web site, Trodat Printy 4911 Cloth Marking Stamp

www.thestampmaker.com

You may still have time to order and deliver to hotel.

Fabric sharpie, about the size indicated; smaller but large enough to clearly see her ID.

The handbook also states that the proposed dimensions are approximate, so I wouldn't stress too much about it. Rumor has it that virtually all markings get faded due to the washing process so you may have to remark halfway through anyways
