I understand how they superscore reading, science, math and English but how do they superscore your composite.

They do it just like the SAT. However, make sure you also have a score in the "Writing" section. If not, then your ACT scores will essentially be voided.

nope-dont get it
we dont take the SAT in my area unless there is a specific need-so saying its like the SAT doesn't help.

so for superscoring the ACT they take your highest score on each of the subtests (English, Reading, math and Science). I understand that.

But for the composite...

do they average the four highest scores to get your composite? or was it the highest composite score that you got on a previous ACT exam?
 
This may/may not apply to USMA, but USNA did not appear to care about the composite score but rather just the two sections.
