RAND study on USAFA admissions

Studies such as these are often mentioned on this forum for various SA's. Often times, someone will take one small part of the study and use it to reach broader conclusions not directly related to the study. It is also important to know when the study was conducted, since practices might have changed over time.

First thanks to "miketony" for the link. It's very informative. While it is somewhat dry reading, I would recommend that all applicants read at least the first 22 pages of the RAND study. It provides a good overview of the USAFA application process.

I found their findings with respect to which measures are the best predictors of success (meaning graduating) to also be of interest.

Based on the ISBN#, I believe it was published in 2016; so fairly recent.
