Ranger Challenge Team

Out of ~60 freshmen cadets that joined the program, he is the only 4 years scholarship cadet. There were a few more that CC awarded the scholarships to but they were not admitted to the school, and CC did not back fill the slots (we all heard about it: the budget issue!).

Congratulations to you and your son. My son is also a freshman, also got the four-year, and was invited to join his Ranger Challenge team. I assumed that just about every freshman in his ROTC program had earned a scholarship, but recently found out that only about three out of twenty did. I was a little surprised by the low percentage. I wonder if this year is different.
