Hey everyone, I did not receive an appointment to the Coast Guard Academy last year and I chose to reapply this year. I attend my state university, where the recruiter for AROTC told me DoDMERB was good for 2 years and I wouldn't have to re-do the exams for the scholarship they are offering me (my backup plan).

But is it different for the academy? Should I bother the admissions office or should I stay confident I don't have to do it again for my application?

Academy Admissions - DoDMERB Medical Exam

You do not need to take a second medical exam if you have already taken one
for another service academy or ROTC scholarship program. The medical exam is valid
for two years, but you must submit a statement of present health and report any injuries
which occurred since the medical exam date.
