My daughter received a DQ for asthma. She was diagnosed at 3. She is 17 and her asthma is not an issue. She had some issues with a cough due to cold in 2018, but was not hospitalized and it cleared up. We provided medical docs from 2003 and now found out she has a remedial for scoliosis. Does this mean she has two issues that need to be handled or her DQ has been resolved and now a new one?

If the asthma issue is resolved, I believe it will no longer show on the list of DQs. How much scoli does she have? Did you initially put it down on the DoDMERB form or was it mentioned in the medical docs? She should be able to have up to 30* thoracic or 30* lumbar; wanting to be a pilot has a lower threshold.
