Recommendations

Does anyone know how important the order recommenders are entered on the application is? It says to please enter them: School Counselor, English teacher, Math teacher, Coach for PFE, Personal recommendation.
I entered them as I heard back from them and just noticed my mistake. I value following instructions greatly and want to fix my mistake, that is unless it's no big deal. My biggest worry is that for those who started the submission process, that they will lose their progress and it will create confusion.

However I don’t think it’s important as long as you have all references.

It is not critical to enter them in a specific order, as long as you select the correct pull down menu (English, Math, GC, PFE, etc) for each one when it is entered. DD did not have a guidance counselor when the portal opened, so that was the last recommender added.

If you already entered them, and recommenders are uploading, then double check to make sure they are checked off properly. In DD's case, she confirmed it was acceptable to input out of order due to not having a GC at the time, and it was unknown when the official announcement would be for a GC.

Mine showed up alphabetically even though they were not entered that way. Did that happen to you too?
