Son was looked at for Early Decision and deferred for another look during Regular Decision cycle.

Does he just keep checking his Bear's Den portal or what? Currently, his portal only reflects the previous deferral correspondence.

For those that were deferred, I would not expect an early decision in the regular cycle. CGA will want to compare the applicants that they deferred to those applicants from Regular Admission. So Admissions will need time to go through the applications from the regular cycle first.

How I found out about my acceptance was that my AC called me and my portal was then updated to reflect my appointment 1-2 days later. But before the call, my application in Bears Den was unchanged and I didn’t even know if my application had been looked at.
