Regular Admissions - Interviews anyone?

My DS received a call and text yesterday for an interview. They scheduled an interview for this Friday (2 days away). I was a little surprised, but I haven’t followed his progress closely. I ask my son for updates from time to time. Last night at dinner, he said that someone from the Coast Guard called and texted him. I don’t think he understood how important that was. I’ll post the outcome.
 
DS received an email from Admissions this week notifying him that he would be contacted within the next 30 days to set up an interview. Didn’t see anything on Bear’s Den yet.
 
Due to weather delays, my DS had his interview on Monday, February 24th. He said it went well and he wasn't surprised by the questions. He said it was similar to the USNA and NROTC interviews. Ironically, shortly after his CGA interview, another person from the CGA called him for an interview. Apparently, they are busy making sure everyone is interviewed right away.

Was the box for interview checked on the application checklist? TY

No - still blank. Seems like that would not be checked until after the interview was complete and the report submitted by the interviewer?

True-just wondered if that report would have been asked for prior to the "Application Complete Ready for Review" box was checked....
