Rejected-> Waitlist. Possible Appointment???

Got rejected on the 15th and then my status recently got changed from “turned down” to waitlist. How often does this happen and what do you guys think my chances of appointment are now?

Also does anyone have a general sense of how many are waitlisted in a district, and their chances of appointment?

I know of one other candidate in my district that is on the waitlist.

Did you get an email when you got turned down? And then another email when you got waitlisted?
